Billing Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Billing Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern payment between TechForge Direct, a trading name of JCO Holdings LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), and the customer ("you"). By purchasing from techforgedirect.com you agree to these Terms.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Pricing. All prices are listed in USD. The price shown on the product page is the full price of the item. Applicable sales tax is calculated and displayed at checkout before you pay. Standard curbside freight shipping within the United States is included — see our Shipping Policy.

2.2 No hidden charges. The total displayed at checkout is what you are charged. We do not add membership fees, handling fees, subscriptions, or any charge you have not seen and approved. If an optional delivery service you request — such as liftgate, residential, limited-access, or inside delivery, or rigging — carries a cost, we quote it in writing and charge it only with your prior written approval.

2.3 Price changes. Manufacturer pricing changes from time to time and prices on the Site may be updated without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the moment you complete checkout. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we will contact you before processing and you may cancel for a full refund.

2.4 Payment methods. The current, authoritative list of accepted payment methods — cards, digital wallets, and pay-over-time options — is published on our Payment Options page. Where this document and that page differ, the Payment Options page governs.

2.5 When you are charged. Payment is collected in full at checkout, unless you select Shop Pay Installments. Shop Pay Installments is a financing product offered and administered by Affirm through Shop Pay, available on orders up to $30,000. If you select it, Affirm collects from you according to the schedule they disclose to you before you confirm, and TechForge Direct is paid separately. Approval is subject to Affirm's credit assessment, and depending on the plan you are offered an installment plan may carry interest and fees, meaning the total you pay may exceed the cash price shown on the product page. Your installment agreement is with Affirm, not with us. Full details are on our Payment Options page.

3. Invoicing

An order confirmation and receipt are emailed to you immediately after checkout. Please make sure your billing and contact details are accurate, as we use them to reach you about lead times and freight scheduling.

4. Disputed Charges

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at support@techforgedirect.com with your order number and details. Please raise it within 30 days of the charge so we can resolve it quickly. We will investigate and respond promptly, and we will correct any error we find. Nothing in this section limits your rights to dispute a charge with your card issuer or bank.

5. Refunds and Credits

Refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy. Once a refund is approved it is issued to the original payment method within 7 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it. Where an order was paid using Shop Pay Installments, the refund is returned to Affirm, who then adjust your plan.

6. Taxes

Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and shown as a separate line before payment. If your business is tax exempt, provide a valid exemption certificate before completing your purchase by emailing support@techforgedirect.com, and we will apply the exemption. Exemption certificates cannot always be applied retroactively.

7. Billing Errors

If we discover a billing error we will correct it promptly. If you were overcharged, we refund or credit the difference. If you were undercharged, we will contact you and you may either pay the difference or cancel the order for a full refund. We will not charge additional amounts without your consent.

8. Payment Security

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and other PCI DSS compliant processors. We do not store your card details on our servers. Transactions are transmitted over TLS encryption.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted, and apply to orders placed after that date. The terms that govern your order are those in effect at the time of purchase.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising under these Terms. Nothing in this section limits your rights under our Return and Refund Policy, your rights in respect of a defective or mis-described product, or any right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection law in your state of residence.

13. Entire Agreement

These Billing Terms, together with our Terms of Service, Payment Options, Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TechForge Direct regarding billing.
