1. What is HEXA?
HEXA is a professional desktop CO2 laser cutter and engraver. It features a powerful 60-watt CO2 laser, that can cut and engrave on organic materials and even engrave select metal. With its revolutionary design and intuitive user interface, you're just steps away from the fun of making amazing things.

2. What is the warranty?
We provide a 12 month warranty for HEXA and the laser tube. If you've encountered an issue, please contact our technical staff, and our staff will determine the suitable fix. Parts and tutorials will be provided if needed, shipping will be charged.

About Shipping

1. How much does shipping cost?

2. Will there be customs and taxes?
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient.

About Hardware

1. Will HEXA be difficult to set-up?
HEXA supports files that you're familiar with, such as JPG, PNG, SVG, DXF, AI and PDF, and our software is very easy to use, with the tutorial provided, you will be making things in no time.

2. I'm new to all this, what if I have some questions?
You can easily find answers to the most common questions on our Help Center, which we update regularly. You can also contact our customer support online and our support team will be more than happy to help you.

3. What's the wattage of the laser tube?
HEXA is equipped with a CO2 laser tube operating at 10,640 nm averaging 60W.

4. What materials can HEXA cut and engrave?
HEXA can cut and engrave on wood, leather, cardboard, acrylic, rubber, foods and more, the maximum cutting thickness is 21mm (varies by material). HEXA can also engrave on anodized aluminum and stainless steel, but the power levels are not enough to cut.

5. Is it possible to cut deeper than the maximum cutting thickness stated in the specs?
If you slow down the speed or re-do the cut, you can cut deeper.

6. Does the camera cover the complete work area?
Almost, the camera will miss the upper margin by 1cm. Please see the specs for the dimensions.

7. What safety precautions should I take?
HEXA is designed with various safety measures, such as smart lid detection and emergency power switch. Nevertheless, it is required that you never leave HEXA unattended while operating.

8. Can HEXA cut metal?
The power levels are not enough to cut, but it can etch on anodized aluminum and stainless steel with the use of our specialized coating.

9. What is FLUX Stainless Steel Coating?
You can engrave on stainless steel with HEXA only when it is coated with our specialized coating. Before you start, cover the material first with the coating for lasting results.

10. How do I vent the machine?
HEXA is equipped with an air pump and a powerful exhaust. The air pump prevents the material from catching fire while the exhaust extracts smoke and fumes.

11. Where should I put my HEXA?
The laser creates smoke and fumes when operating, we advise you pick a well-ventilated location and use the included exhaust hose for outdoor venting.

12. What maintenance procedures are there?
To ensure the quality of the laser engraving or cutting, you should check and clean the lenses and mirrors regularly. Usually once every week, but it depends on your usage and frequency. Lubricate the rails and check the water level of the cooling tank regularly.

13. Are there any consumables?
For general usage, the laser tube lasts 1 to 2 years. The lenses and mirrors last 1 year or more under regular maintenance. If replacement is necessary, you can refer to our tutorial to change the parts on your own.

About Software

1. Is Beam Studio free?
Yes, it is totally free. You're more than welcome to download it even before receiving your HEXA. We'd love to hear your feedback!

2. What file types does Beam Studio support?
Beam Studio is compatible with JPG, PNG, SVG, and DXF.

3. What is the touch panel?
You can start, pause and stop task, control, and monitor the status of your HEXA all with a touch of the finger with the touch panel.

4. Can HEXA operate independently?
If you import the files to Beam Studio first, the files will be uploaded to HEXA before starting the task, so you can disconnect your computer from HEXA anytime. You can also import the files to HEXA directly using USB or choose from the recent task list on the touch panel.

5. How to connect HEXA with my laptop?
You can connect via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

6. What operating systems does Beam Studio support?
Beam Studio is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux.

As a FLUX consumer, you benefit under certain conditions from additional warranties. FLUX offers specific consumer warranty benefits which are in addition to, and not instead of, any legal warranties provided by your national consumer law. The duration and conditions related to the legal warranties are provided by respective local laws.

Hardware Warranty

1. FLUX Inc. warrants only the hardware (excluding accessories and consumable parts*) against defects in materials and workmanship when used as instructed in the manual for the warranty period.
*Consumable parts include reflective mirrors, focus lenses, and vent hoses.

2. The limited warranty covers products purchased from authorized FLUX retailers against defects in materials or workmanship.

3. Customers must provide the machine serial number and related information as proof of purchase. Prior to returning any products, customers must receive an approval of shipping from our authorized reseller via email or phone. We will not accept any unapproved returned goods.

4. During the product's warranty period, FLUX may, at its discretion, take one or more of the following actions: (1) send parts to customer along with tutorials for repair, (2) approved return of the product to an authorized local reseller for (i) repair with new or refurbished parts or (ii) replacement with a new or refurbished product provided that: the product was properly used according to the manufacturer's intended purposes and instructions; the product was not damaged due to acts of nature such as lightning, flood, or fire; the product's casing was never disassembled without permission. Note: Particles, scratches, unevenness, or other appearance issues which do not affect the function of the machine are not covered under the warranty.

5. Original packaging is required to claim warranty; shipping in any other packaging will not be accepted. We advise you to keep the original packaging for possible return.

Warranty Period — Warranty period starts at the time customer receives the product. HEXA hardware: 12-month limited warranty. Laser tube: 12-month limited warranty (10,000 hour lifespan).

Post Warranty Support and Repair

1. FLUX will continue to provide tech support via phone, email, and other online methods even after the product warranty period.

2. After the warranty period, all costs—including but not limited to replacement parts, shipping charges, and testing fees—are the sole responsibility of the customer.

3. Our authorized reseller may provide a quote for repairs.
