Low profile D-style self dumping hoppers provide a compact solution for loading, transporting, and dumping scrap, waste, parts, chips, and bulk materials with a fork truck. Designed for manufacturing plants, machine shops, warehouses, fabrication areas, maintenance departments, and production floors, these hoppers help keep material collection efficient while improving visibility during loading and transport.

Low Profile Loading Design

The 23 inch overall height makes these hoppers easier to load than taller standard hoppers, especially when handling small parts, loose scrap, or materials from workstations and production areas. Contoured edges help materials flow during discharge for cleaner, more complete dumping.

Forklift-Operated Dumping

A pull cable allows the forklift operator to dump the hopper from the seat of the truck, helping personnel stay clear of the discharge area. Enclosed fork pockets provide a solid lifting foundation, while the included safety restraint helps secure the hopper to the fork truck during use.

Sizes and Capacity

This family includes 1/4 cubic yard, 1/3 cubic yard, and 1/2 cubic yard models, each with 2,000 lb. capacity and a 60 degree dump angle. Durable steel construction and a blue baked-in powder-coated finish make these low profile self dumping hoppers a practical choice for everyday industrial material handling and cleanup applications.

Model Details

This low profile Hopper is the perfect solution for loading and unloading large and small items. With a steel construction, the hopper maintains an enduring strength throughout the strain of consistent daily use. The manual release feature gives the forklift driver the ability to never leave the driving position, which allows personnel to stay at a safe distance throughout the dumping process. With a low profile design, the visibility of items and surroundings can be maintained throughout the loading and unloading of products. Must be attached to fork truck when unloading.
