Liftgate, residential, limited-access and inside delivery, rigging and crating are not included — typically $150 to several hundred dollars, quoted in writing and charged only with your prior approval.

What is your Return Policy?

30 days to request a return from the date you receive your order. Email support@techforgedirect.com with your order number and reason. We will assess your request and, once approved, send you an RMA number and detailed instructions. Do not ship anything back before you have an RMA number.

1. Return shipping costs

You as the customer are responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the items in your order. On freight-shipped machinery this can be substantial — we quote the exact amount in writing before you commit, so you decide with the full figure in front of you.

2. Preparing your return

Parcel-sized items: we email you a return label, and its cost is deducted from your refund. Freight items are collected under a bill of lading we arrange. The item must be unopened, unused and in delivery condition, including all original packaging and accessories, in a condition such that it can be re-sold as new. Machinery must not have been wired in or powered on. Photographic evidence is required.

3. Restocking fee

Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. On a $10,000 machine that is $2,500.

4. Damaged or incorrect products

Note it immediately when signing for delivery and send photographs to support@techforgedirect.com the day of delivery. We will ensure you get the correct product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible, at no cost to you — no return shipping charge and no restocking fee.

5. Refunds

Processed within 7 business days of your returned item being received and inspected.

6. Cancellations

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund with no fee.

Mechanical and Hydraulic Edge Dock Levelers for Loading Dock Efficiency

Edge dock levelers provide a dependable and space-saving solution for bridging the gap between loading docks and trailers during material handling operations. Designed for warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and shipping docks, these dock levelers improve loading efficiency while enhancing forklift access and operator safety. Their compact design mounts directly to the dock face without requiring a concrete recess, making installation faster and more economical than traditional pit-style dock levelers.  The Edge-O-Dock leveler permanently attaches to face of dock. It is recommended for docks to be at least forty-eight (48) inches high. When the trailer departs, the lip drops automatically behind the face of the bumpers. Concrete recess is not required. The leveler comes complete with 2" x 8" x 18" bumpers and installation instructions. Standard ramping is twenty-nine (29) inches (29-13/16" with 30,000 lb. capacity) with a (36-5/8") long ramping length available for smaller grade on PP and PE series levelers. A steel dock edge, approach ramp, or approach plate is necessary on the dock face, and a continuous weld (completely across the top, and down both sides of the mounting plate) is required for proper installation. Additionally, the mounting plate must be bolted to the dock face, via the anchor holes provided on the mounting plate.

The Mechanical Edge-O-Dock is operated by placing the actuation handle into the pocket of the inner lip and pulling down toward the floor. The operator then pushes the handle forward until the lip rests on the truck bed. As the trailer departs, the lip retracts behind the bumper face automatically.

The Manual Hydraulic Hand Pump system is used to lift the leveler and extend the lip. The operator actuates the lowering valve allowing the deck to descend down and rest upon the trailer. Unit comes complete with hand pump, wall-mount brackets, cylinder, 15 feet of hydraulic line and oil. Truck must pull out for leveler to return to stored position.

The Electric Hydraulic Edge-O-Dock is the easiest to operate. After the truck is backed against the dock, push and hold the control button. The leveler raises and the lip will extend. 115V, 1-phase power standard. Unit comes complete with motor, pump, control box, cylinder, lines, and oil. Truck must pull out for leveler to return to stored position.
