Standard shipping (free on every order) is curbside or dock-to-dock delivery to a commercial address in the 48 contiguous states and DC, or parcel delivery for smaller items. We are not currently set up to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other US territories. Liftgate, residential, limited-access and inside delivery, rigging and crating are not included — typically $150 to several hundred dollars, quoted in writing and charged only with your prior approval.

What is your Return Policy?

30 days to request a return from the date you receive your order. Email support@techforgedirect.com with your order number and reason. We will assess your request and, once approved, send you an RMA number and detailed instructions. Do not ship anything back before you have an RMA number.

1. Return shipping costs

You as the customer are responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the items in your order. On freight-shipped machinery this can be substantial — we quote the exact amount in writing before you commit, so you decide with the full figure in front of you.

2. Preparing your return

Parcel-sized items: we email you a return label, and its cost is deducted from your refund. Freight items are collected under a bill of lading we arrange. The item must be unopened, unused and in delivery condition, including all original packaging and accessories, in a condition such that it can be re-sold as new. Machinery must not have been wired in or powered on. Photographic evidence is required.

3. Restocking fee

Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. On a $10,000 machine that is $2,500.

4. Damaged or incorrect products

Note it immediately when signing for delivery and send photographs to support@techforgedirect.com the day of delivery. We will ensure you get the correct product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible, at no cost to you — no return shipping charge and no restocking fee.

5. Refunds

Processed within 7 business days of your returned item being received and inspected.

6. Cancellations

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund with no fee.

Product Description

Star Industries ITA Replacement Forks

  • Forged from heat-treated premium carbon-steel

ITA Class II, III and IV

Clip-mount forks — also known as ITA or hook-type forks — are ideal for warehouse and industrial forklifts. Most forks are available fully tapered and polished on request.

5 Reasons Star Forks are Better

  • No shortcuts. All forks are forged from a single piece of steel, then fully heat-treated, quenched and tempered for a minimum yield strength of 825 MPa.
  • Certified production methods. Welding processes are certified in accordance with ISO 3834-2.
  • Rigorous testing. Fork heels and welds are subjected to full MPI crack-testing on all welds and the heel area by certificated operatives.
  • Full part traceability. Each fork is stamped with manufacturer’s identification, specified capacity and load center, week of manufacture and production works order number.
  • Standards-compliance. All forks are guaranteed to meet or exceed the requirements of national and international standards (such as ISO 2328, ISO 2330 and ANSI ITSDF B56.11.4) with regards to mounting details, load-, fatigue- and impact-tests.

  • Pallet forks are sold as a pair; 2″ x 2″ block forks are sold each.
  • Confirm your carriage class before ordering (see the guide below) and your forklift’s rated capacity.

How to Choose ITA Forks

Identify your carriage class

ITA (ISO 2328) classes are defined by carriage height—the distance between the top and bottom carriage bars. Class II carriages are approximately 16″ tall (typically 2,000–5,500 lb trucks), Class III approximately 20″ (5,000–10,000 lb) and Class IV approximately 25″ (10,000–17,500 lb). Measure your carriage, or check the class stamped on your existing forks.

Match capacity

Choose forks whose rated capacity meets or exceeds your forklift’s rated capacity. Never mix forks of different capacities on the same truck.

Pick the length

42″–48″ forks suit standard pallets. 60″, 72″ and 96″ forks support longer loads and double-deep handling, but move the load center out and reduce the truck’s effective capacity.

Replace in pairs

Forks wear together. Replace pallet forks as a matched pair and inspect heels, hooks and locking pins regularly.
