Standard shipping (free on every order) is curbside or dock-to-dock delivery to a commercial address in the 48 contiguous states and DC, or parcel delivery for smaller items. We are not currently set up to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other US territories. Liftgate, residential, limited-access and inside delivery, rigging and crating are not included — typically $150 to several hundred dollars, quoted in writing and charged only with your prior approval.

What is your Return Policy?

30 days to request a return from the date you receive your order. Email support@techforgedirect.com with your order number and reason. We will assess your request and, once approved, send you an RMA number and detailed instructions. Do not ship anything back before you have an RMA number.

1. Return shipping costs

You as the customer are responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the items in your order. On freight-shipped machinery this can be substantial — we quote the exact amount in writing before you commit, so you decide with the full figure in front of you.

2. Preparing your return

Parcel-sized items: we email you a return label, and its cost is deducted from your refund. Freight items are collected under a bill of lading we arrange. The item must be unopened, unused and in delivery condition, including all original packaging and accessories, in a condition such that it can be re-sold as new. Machinery must not have been wired in or powered on. Photographic evidence is required.

3. Restocking fee

Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. On a $10,000 machine that is $2,500.

4. Damaged or incorrect products

Note it immediately when signing for delivery and send photographs to support@techforgedirect.com the day of delivery. We will ensure you get the correct product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible, at no cost to you — no return shipping charge and no restocking fee.

5. Refunds

Processed within 7 business days of your returned item being received and inspected.

6. Cancellations

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund with no fee.

The MRCOOL® DIY® Select Ductless Heat Pump Single Zone Mini-Split is designed to make HVAC installation simple and accessible for homeowners. Built for true do-it-yourself installation, it requires no specialized tools, certifications, or prior HVAC experience. Ideal for garages, home offices, studios, and similar spaces.

Despite its DIY®-friendly design, the system delivers strong performance, providing consistent, energy-efficient comfort year-round while helping control utility costs.

Installation is further simplified with an 11.5-foot Quick Connect® line set that arrives factory pre-charged with environmentally friendly R-454B refrigerant, eliminating the need for vacuum pumps or refrigerant handling. Most components are included, making setup faster and more approachable for first-time installers.

Comfort control is easy using the included wireless remote or the MRCOOL® Comfort app, which allows remote temperature control, scheduling, and energy monitoring. Compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant adds hands-free convenience.

Features like Sleep Mode, Dry Mode, Auto, and a Gold Fin® condenser coating enhance comfort and durability, even in humid or coastal environments.

MRCOOL® offers enhanced peace of mind with their 2-year compressor warranty and 1-year parts warranty for homeowners.
