Standard shipping (free on every order) is curbside or dock-to-dock delivery to a commercial address in the 48 contiguous states and DC, or parcel delivery for smaller items. We are not currently set up to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other US territories. Liftgate, residential, limited-access and inside delivery, rigging and crating are not included — typically $150 to several hundred dollars, quoted in writing and charged only with your prior approval.

What is your Return Policy?

30 days to request a return from the date you receive your order. Email support@techforgedirect.com with your order number and reason. We will assess your request and, once approved, send you an RMA number and detailed instructions. Do not ship anything back before you have an RMA number.

1. Return shipping costs

You as the customer are responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the items in your order. On freight-shipped machinery this can be substantial — we quote the exact amount in writing before you commit, so you decide with the full figure in front of you.

2. Preparing your return

Parcel-sized items: we email you a return label, and its cost is deducted from your refund. Freight items are collected under a bill of lading we arrange. The item must be unopened, unused and in delivery condition, including all original packaging and accessories, in a condition such that it can be re-sold as new. Machinery must not have been wired in or powered on. Photographic evidence is required.

3. Restocking fee

Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. On a $10,000 machine that is $2,500.

4. Damaged or incorrect products

Note it immediately when signing for delivery and send photographs to support@techforgedirect.com the day of delivery. We will ensure you get the correct product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible, at no cost to you — no return shipping charge and no restocking fee.

5. Refunds

Processed within 7 business days of your returned item being received and inspected.

6. Cancellations

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund with no fee.

Makinex Jackhammer Trolley JHT-U-2: Floor Tile Removal Cart

Remove floor tile, thinset and mortar beds up to 6 times faster than with a jackhammer alone. The Makinex JHT-U-2 carries the weight of your 35 to 42 lb demolition hammer so you push instead of bend, with 5 angle settings across an 80-degree range, a spring-assisted brake lever for quick angle changes and a built-in dampening system that cuts vibration and operator fatigue.

Compatible jackhammers: Bosch 11335K, Hilti TE1000, Hilti TE1500, Makita 1307, 1317, 1511, 1512, 1520 and Bauer 1632E-B.

What It Removes

The Makinex Jackhammer Trolley is a demolition tool for fast removal of ceramic and porcelain floor tile, vinyl, cork and hardwood from concrete and wooden subfloors. It also strips residue and thinset from tile beds and breaks rock, block, concrete and sandstone.

Contractors report removing floor tile up to 6 times faster than with a jackhammer alone. One US demolition contractor went from under 600 sq ft to over 1,500 sq ft of tile removal per day (see review below).

The trolley carries most of the jackhammer's weight while the operator stands behind it and pushes. The ergonomic design reduces vibration, back strain and fatigue, and keeps the operator away from flying chips and dust.

Jackhammer and attachments are not included and are sold separately.

Build Your Tile Removal Setup

The trolley is the frame. To start removing tile you also need a jackhammer (sold separately) and a working head that fits its shank:

All Makinex products purchased through TechForge Direct carry Makinex's standard limited warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Generators, mixing stations, power boxes, and most equipment: 12 months from the date of original purchase.
Certain attachments and consumable accessories (e.g. the Flippable Wide Chisel): 6 months from the date of original purchase.
