Product Description

EKKO EB16EAS-189Li Lithium Powered Straddle Stacker

The EKKO EB16EAS-189Li is a fully powered walk-behind straddle stacker that lifts 4,400 lbs to 189". Its straddle legs reach around the pallet, so the load sits between the legs instead of out front; that keeps the machine short and stable without a heavy counterweight, making it a compact, affordable way to stack pallets in racking. Side shift lets the operator line up the forks without repositioning the stacker. A lithium-ion battery gives maintenance-free power that can be topped up during breaks.

FAQ

Straddle vs counterbalanced stacker: what's the difference?
A straddle stacker's legs go around the outside of the pallet, so the load sits between the legs and no counterweight is needed. That makes it lighter, shorter and less expensive than a counterbalanced stacker. The trade-off: the legs need clearance on both sides of the pallet and the machine can't pull right up to a truck bed or bench.

What floors is it designed for?
Smooth, level indoor concrete. It is not meant for ramps steeper than its rated gradeability, gravel, dirt or rough outdoor yards.

Why lithium?
Lithium needs no watering or equalizing, charges faster, can be opportunity-charged on breaks without shortening battery life, and lasts longer. Lead acid has the lower purchase price.

Is the charger included?
Yes, a charger is included. The charger is built in; contact us to confirm the input voltage for your facility.

Do operators need training?
Yes. Powered industrial truck operators should be trained and evaluated per OSHA 1910.178 before use, and should read the operation manual.

How is it delivered?
Units ship by freight truck from EKKO, usually without a liftgate, so plan for a loading dock or a forklift to unload. Inspect the stacker on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt with photos before signing.
