Standard shipping (free on every order) is curbside or dock-to-dock delivery to a commercial address in the 48 contiguous states and DC, or parcel delivery for smaller items. We are not currently set up to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other US territories. Liftgate, residential, limited-access and inside delivery, rigging and crating are not included — typically $150 to several hundred dollars, quoted in writing and charged only with your prior approval.

What is your Return Policy?

30 days to request a return from the date you receive your order. Email support@techforgedirect.com with your order number and reason. We will assess your request and, once approved, send you an RMA number and detailed instructions. Do not ship anything back before you have an RMA number.

1. Return shipping costs

You as the customer are responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the items in your order. On freight-shipped machinery this can be substantial — we quote the exact amount in writing before you commit, so you decide with the full figure in front of you.

2. Preparing your return

Parcel-sized items: we email you a return label, and its cost is deducted from your refund. Freight items are collected under a bill of lading we arrange. The item must be unopened, unused and in delivery condition, including all original packaging and accessories, in a condition such that it can be re-sold as new. Machinery must not have been wired in or powered on. Photographic evidence is required.

3. Restocking fee

Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. On a $10,000 machine that is $2,500.

4. Damaged or incorrect products

Note it immediately when signing for delivery and send photographs to support@techforgedirect.com the day of delivery. We will ensure you get the correct product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible, at no cost to you — no return shipping charge and no restocking fee.

5. Refunds

Processed within 7 business days of your returned item being received and inspected.

6. Cancellations

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund with no fee.

How a Dehumidifier Works

1. Air is drawn into the unit by a fan
2. Air passes over a cold surface
3. As the air is cooled, it’s moisture condenses
4. Water falls into the container
5. Air is re-heated by the heat recovery system
6. Air passes back into room 2°C warmer and considerably dryer
7. Defrost system automatically de-ices unit as necessary
8. Unit switches off automatically when container is full
9. When the unit achieves the selected level of dryness it switches off automatically

The Orion incorporates an “Air To Air” Heat Exchange which provides a secondary level of pre-cooling.The high capacity backward curved fan will maximize air delivery overlong distances. The Problem

We offer a variety of dehumidifiers and air movers to remove water and assist with drying areas after water damage.Following a flood, whether it is in your basement or office, it’s vitally important to restore the damaged area to good order as soon as possible to protect your health from microorganisms, mold and bacteria that may grow and ultimately prevent further damage.Whether it is a flash flood, hurricane, heavy rains or water main break, EIPL has the equipment to handle the harshest environments and assist with proper restoration.

The Dehumidifier

EIPL dehumidifiers are effective solutions to environmental control problems. The Orion dehumidifier, with its 2 stage cooling process and temperature sensitive defrost control, ensures optimum performance throughout the unit’s full operating temperature range.

Moisture is removed from the air through an efficient refrigeration process. The fan draws the moist air through and “Air to Air” heat exchanger, where the incoming air is pre-cooled. The air is then drawn through the evaporator coil which further cools the air below its dew point. Moisture forms on the evaporator coil and is collected in the condensate tray. The cooled air then passes through the hot condenser coil where it is reheated using the same energy removed during the cooling phase, plus the additional heat generated by the compressor. The air is, therefore, discharged from the dehumidifier at a slightly higher temperature with a lower absolute humidity than that which entered.

Continuous circulation of air through the dehumidifier gradually reduces the relative humidity within the area.
