Standard shipping (free on every order) is curbside or dock-to-dock delivery to a commercial address in the 48 contiguous states and DC, or parcel delivery for smaller items. We are not currently set up to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other US territories. Liftgate, residential, limited-access and inside delivery, rigging and crating are not included — typically $150 to several hundred dollars, quoted in writing and charged only with your prior approval.

What is your Return Policy?

30 days to request a return from the date you receive your order. Email support@techforgedirect.com with your order number and reason. We will assess your request and, once approved, send you an RMA number and detailed instructions. Do not ship anything back before you have an RMA number.

1. Return shipping costs

You as the customer are responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the items in your order. On freight-shipped machinery this can be substantial — we quote the exact amount in writing before you commit, so you decide with the full figure in front of you.

2. Preparing your return

Parcel-sized items: we email you a return label, and its cost is deducted from your refund. Freight items are collected under a bill of lading we arrange. The item must be unopened, unused and in delivery condition, including all original packaging and accessories, in a condition such that it can be re-sold as new. Machinery must not have been wired in or powered on. Photographic evidence is required.

3. Restocking fee

Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. On a $10,000 machine that is $2,500.

4. Damaged or incorrect products

Note it immediately when signing for delivery and send photographs to support@techforgedirect.com the day of delivery. We will ensure you get the correct product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible, at no cost to you — no return shipping charge and no restocking fee.

5. Refunds

Processed within 7 business days of your returned item being received and inspected.

6. Cancellations

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund with no fee.

Mounting Frames

Star Industry Auger Mounting Frames are constructed from heavy wall tubular steel and feature the largest and strongest cradle on the market. Mounting includes a convenient, weatherproof tube for storage of operations manual.

Hose Kit

Hose Kit includes two ½ x 96” hoses in a protective sleeve and flat face hydraulic quick couplers.

Drives

Rugged planetary drive units feature heavier components than all competitors and will outperform all other drives in their class. Paired with the correct auger, they can handle any drilling need.

Which Configuration Do I Need?

  • Skid Steer Assembly: universal skid steer mounting frame, hose kit and drive unit, ready to drill. Auger bits sold separately.
  • Drive Only: replace or upgrade a drive on an existing Star frame.
  • Mounting Frame Only: universal skid steer quick-tach frame, or boom-tip frame for backhoes and mini excavators with single-pin couplers.
  • Choose your drive by flow: pick the drive whose GPM range matches your loader's auxiliary hydraulic flow (check your operator's manual). Standard-flow skid steers typically fall in the 10-20 or 15-30 GPM range; high-flow machines suit the 20-35 GPM drive.
