Add the convenience of a forklift to your loader

Add the versatility of a forklift to your wheel loader or backhoe with Star Industries Over-the-Bucket Forks. Three universal-fit brackets weld to the back of your bucket; the free-standing fork assembly hangs from them on a 2″ solid steel shaft.

Add and remove forks from the comfort of the operator’s seat

  1. Roll bucket forward
  2. Engage free-standing forks with brackets
  3. Roll bucket back to level forks

Ordering Notes

  • Complete Set = one pair of tines + one set of 3 mounting brackets (LBA170B) + one 2″ x 80″ shaft (LBA170-02). This is what most first-time buyers need.
  • Already have brackets and a shaft? Choose Tines Only. Brackets and shaft are also sold separately.
  • Choose the tine size by your bucket’s vertical opening (measure from the bucket floor to the top edge at the cutting edge).

Why Over-the-Bucket Forks?

No quick-coupler required

Because the forks hang from brackets welded to the bucket, you get pallet-handling ability on loaders and backhoes without a quick-attach system or a dedicated fork carriage.

Fast changeovers

The operator can engage or remove the forks from the seat in under a minute, switching between digging and material handling as the job requires.

Handles common jobsite loads

Move palletized block, brick, pipe, sod, fencing materials and other palletized supplies around the site or yard.

Two capacity classes

Choose 42″ tines rated 5,500 lbs per pair for lighter loaders, or 48″ tines rated 6,900 lbs per pair for larger machines.
