Free shipping is curbside or dock-to-dock delivery to a commercial address in the 48 contiguous states and DC, or parcel delivery for smaller items. We are not currently set up to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other US territories. Liftgate, residential, limited-access and inside delivery, and rigging, are not included — typically $150 to several hundred dollars, quoted in writing and charged only with your prior approval.

What is your Return Policy?

30 days to request a return from the date you receive your order. Email support@techforgedirect.com with your order number and reason. We will assess your request and, once approved, send you an RMA number and detailed instructions. Do not ship anything back before you have an RMA number.

1. Return shipping costs

You as the customer are responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the items in your order. On freight-shipped machinery this can be substantial — we quote the exact amount in writing before you commit, so you decide with the full figure in front of you.

2. Preparing your return

Parcel-sized items: we email you a return label, and its cost is deducted from your refund. Freight items are collected under a bill of lading we arrange. The item must be unopened, unused and in delivery condition, including all original packaging and accessories, in a condition such that it can be re-sold as new. Machinery must not have been wired in or powered on. Photographic evidence is required.

3. Restocking fee

Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. On a $10,000 machine that is $2,500.

4. Damaged or incorrect products

Note it immediately when signing for delivery and send photographs to support@techforgedirect.com the day of delivery. We will ensure you get the correct product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible, at no cost to you — no return shipping charge and no restocking fee.

5. Refunds

Processed within 7 business days of your returned item being received and inspected.

6. Cancellations

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund with no fee.

Product Description

DK3 Digital Mug Press

The DK3 Digital Mug Press is a specialty press in the Digital Knight line of presses; exclusively for pressing mugs. This press is a full wrap-around, handle to handle, top-to-bottom printing mug press. It can press images up to 5" high, and as close as 1/2" from the handle, depending on the mug size.

The DK3 is fully adjustable, accommodating all cylindrical mugs available on the market. This includes 11 oz, 15 oz, 16 oz mugs, steins and stainless steel travel mugs. (...but not tapered latte mugs...) The ability of the press to open extra wide allows for easy and fast loading and unloading of mugs from the press. The thick solid steel framework and die-cast clamp assembly provides a heavy duty framework for non-stop use. The clamp assembly can be adjusted for very heavy pressure, allowing for full bleed transfers on even the most demanding mugs — including mugs that are not perfectly straight.

As with all Digital Knight presses, the DK3 uses a digital control system carrying a 3-year warranty on the heat-control electronics. With digital temperature, time and programmable presets, cycle counter and many other features, the consistency and productivity of mug printing is maximized.

At the heart of the DK3 is the SuperCoil-Microwinding™ heater technology, a system of embedded heater windings that wind tightly and closely together throughout the entire platen for even heat, fast recovery and fast heat-up times. The DK3 starts up in only a few minutes, and unlike presses that idle at a lower temperature it runs constantly at the set temperature. Where many mug presses use silicone blankets with shorter lifespans and shorter warranties, the DK3 carries a 3-Year / 3,000 mug warranty. Geo Knight reports that its patented stainless steel mug band heater technology has proven more reliable in the field than traditional methods.
